File View Pro App Reviews

I searched an extension that File View Pro claimed to be able to open. When I bought the application and tried to open the file, it said it could not open it. Not worth $5 for an error message.

When I tried to open a file, it said"The document “MINDSTORMS Options.ini” could not be opened. File View Pro cannot open files in the “GenRandom301” format." Whatever you do, dont get it!

I downloaded File View Pro (emphasis on the VIEW) for a file that I really need to open but don’t have an application that can open it. While the information provided MAY have loosely been helpful for someone who understands computers much more complexly than I do, but I got absolutely nothing of usable value after paying $4.99. I too will be seeking a refund!

this app did not open the files i needed it to…useless. not sure why it even came up when i searched for apps that would open the file i had.

I have a Mac and won’t open any PC files. Why is it in Mac store? I want refund!!!!

I would write a review talking trash about this app… but it seems that there are other 17 reviews that cover everything I have to say. Don’t waste your money and time. It’s useless - it really is! - and you’ll get nothing but a headache. I’m surprised Apple has allowed this guy to post the app!

This is total crap. It actually doesn’t do anything usable. It shows you mostly metadata that you can find without the program. You can’t actually open and view any files. So having ‘File view’ in the name is deceptive. They got my five bucks but they won’t get any space on my hard drive. This is going straight to the trash. So if you want to send me your $5 I will provide you with the same functionality. You just think of what you want, remember the $5 you sent me, and then realize you didn’t get anything. I save you from having to delete the program!
